General Information

What is on the ballot?

This is a runoff election for the March 1, 2022 Primary Election. If no candidate from a contest in the Primary Election received at least 50% of the votes, then the top two candidates who received the most votes will in that contest will participate in a runoff election. There are two ballots styles for this election, one for the Democratic Party and one for the Republican Party.

  • Open to all registered McLennan County Voters

In Person Election Day Vote Centers (.pdf)

  • Polls will be open from 7 AM - 7 PM on Election Day, May 24, 2022.
  • Open to all registered McLennan County Voters.
  • Registered McLennan County Voters can vote at ANY of the 34 open Vote Centers on Election Day.

Voting By Mail (Link)

  • Open to registered McLennan County Voters who meet voting by mail qualifications (open link for details).
  • The last day to apply for ballot by mail (received, not postmarked) for the May 24, 2022 Joint Primary Runoff Election is May 13, 2022 @ 5 PM.
