All active, registered voters are mailed a new voter registration certificate every two years (at the beginning of each even numbered year). Newly registered voters will receive a voter registration certificate within a month of registering.
These certificates are for the voter to keep for their records.
The only reason a voter would mail a certificate back to our office is if changes need to be made (such as an address update).
The certificates contain information about where the voter is registered and what districts they reside within. There are numerical codes which indicate what city or school district the voter reside in.
