Packet
The Victim Assistance Coordinator will send a packet of information to the victim of violent crime after the case has been Indicted by a Grand Jury. This packet of information will include a
Victim Impact Statement (PDF), an application for
Crime Victims’ Compensation, and other helpful information.
Crimes Covered
Crimes that are covered are:
- Aggravated assault
- Assault
- Failure to stop and render aid
- Family violence
- Homicide
- Intoxication assault
- Intoxication manslaughter
- Kidnapping
- Manslaughter
- Robbery
- Sexual assault
Returning Packet
In returning the
Victim Impact Statement and Information Sheet (PDF) to our office as requested, it can be considered by the Prosecutor, Judge, and Probation/Parole officials. This also lets us know that you want to be kept informed. It is important to keep in contact with your Victim Assistance Coordinator, especially of any address, email address, or phone number changes.
